HALO 2: I own it and played it reviews

Don't want your impressions from video game magazines, movie clips etc. If you've had game time with the completed version I want your impressions, reviews etc.

I'll have it come lunch time so if no one replies I'll give you my .02

[blackout]The multi-player is better than the original. The new vehicles and the old ones with a little more of a kick are awesome when playing 4+ player. A new addition is the choice between covenant (sp?) and marine for the multi-player; the covenant jump higher, and move quicker, but take on more damage from weapons, as for the marines... yeah... they're the same. There was rumor of the co-op being 4 player, but that turned out to be just that, a rumor. Halo 2 is a great sequel to a landmark of an original.[/blackout] What happened?!

I bought it this morning and am a couple levels deep so far and this game kicks as much *** as the original and then some. I was at Sunnyvale Frys this morning at 8am when they opened so that I could get it before anybody else.

Mine just arrived in my office. I'll post a review once I have time tonight. I should just fake sick and go home right now.

Halo 2 = biggest hype ever. I seriously hope everyone that was responsible for making that game dies. People who play it suck at everything also.

Even my Mom called me this morning to seee if I wanted it. BTW.. according to my Mom, the Sam's Club in Roseville had a pile of them for $44. Why people stand in line for these things baffles me.

Oh yeah... No Mom, I just play racing games

I just got through the intro stage and not much else... Lunch time and all. But I must say the graphics are sweet and I feel this game has potential.

For now, skip the haters!

It seems like more of the same, lots of hype and not a lot of additional content. But if you're obsessed with the original it's a no-brainer. I put down a deposit for Halflife2 today and skipped halo, the guy at the counter thought i was nuts but the truth is, if you have a good computer this is going to be the best game of the year
