They are trying to move threads into other sections so us BAICers (which is all iclub is) will move around and start making the rest of the site active. I can understand that... I haven't posted outside of BAIC in like two years...
However, I don't know if that will really work. Once a thread is moved, I highly doubt I will go and view it again. Which will then kill it because I am sure there are others with the same feeling. SO maybe it's best to just settle with the fact that BAIC is really the only active section on this forum and deal with it?

I think they are takin it a bit far.... they moved one thread and the thread was about LOCAL landline phone service.... seems like BAIC would be a good place to post that??? Then they move donnamatrix's thread on LOCAL gamertags... trying to add local players to her friends list on xbox... whats the problem there? awww well just my 2cents.. guess the BAIC sections is gonna get boring now

First and foremost, mods, staff members, owners, and most importantly those of the SRIC... DO NOT FORGET, we get hyphy in teh bay.
On another note...
I can agree with a bunch of people on both sides.
The BAIC is and will always be an OT Section. That's what keeps us all logging on to it.
However, I understand the thinking behind the fact that the site owners would like it to grow and bring in more members and skrill.
And... threads moved out of the BAIC because they are General OT and not BAIC OT die quicker than a fish out of water.

If you have happy members, the word of mouth will spread the club more than any advertising will. I'll bet that a lot of people on here heard about i-club from some one else outside of the internet realm... possibly... maybe?

I can understand tech threads being moved (I always visit and try to respond to posts in the tech forums when I know the answer) but OT threads started here in the BAIC should stay here. Like posted above, people come to the bay area forum to see whats being talked about in the community. A lot of us have met each other and whether it be videos, other cars, dyno plots, vendor experiences, news headlines...etc...its nice to discuss with the people you know. The BAIC is a local subculture discussing whats happening in the world, lets keep it like that and keep threads from moving to a minimum.
