I don't think you've been there at night. The visibility is top notch. It has a lot of corners, so you can't go too fast... though towards the bottom you can haul ***.

This road takes a great amount of skill...

Keep an eye out for the next one, I try to cross post to all the "i-clubs", but almost nobody seems to want to play!
Pete,

I don't play in the dirt. I might get my nails dirty or worse yet, broken. Where have you been on the runs that I have planed? We missed ya the last few times.

Paul...

Skaggs Springs rd. 45-50 miles of loneliness one way. No damn bikes. At least most of the time.

Yeah, empty roads are unbeatable. I'm just waiting for the one time i decide to hit the apex on one of those blind turns and some huge SUV is there to blast me into the next county.

You know that one tight hairpin on Stage Road that is also a pretty steep incline? I've been trying to do that thing rally style and hang out the tail the whole time but I think I need to set my RSB stiffer. What's your favorite part of those roads?

Yeah! Yeah! It's a left turn right (when going from 84 to Pescadero)? Everytime I enter the turn I think for a half second about double clutching to first, but 90% of the time I just leave it in second and try my damndest to be on the gas from the beginning to keep the revs high enough. I haven't drifted the whole thing, so you're crazier than I am but I have stepped out the rear just a bit on that turn... Soo much fun.

About the SUV's yeah, I say a quick prayer and hope for the best everytime I head out there. I also spend thevast majority of my time on the right side of the road. I don't know if I could choose a favorite part of those roads... I think my current favorite is the recently repaved (ultrasmooth) section of road on 236 between Hwy 9 and that park, Big Basin is it? That left hairpin on Stage is also so awesome though... Have fun out there, and I'll see ya in the twisties!

San Jose/Soquel Road off of Summit Road. Takes you into Soquel. Very Fun. Go late at night. Not too many cars.

Also Kings Mountain Road between Woodside Road and Skyline. Also needs to be driven late at night. Too many bicyclists during the day.

Yeah, maybe a midnight run. This was at the bottom, and I Quote

". Rider #2 was pulled over (sheriff went around #3 to pull over #2) for going 42 in a 40. He told us they are getting sick of all the racing going on. He told us he wrote 17 tickets to sportbikes on Saturday. He then let us know that the CHP is going to have a task force to put an end to the "racing". "

F-That, if there is that many cops out there.

Hey, no problem- we'll just do it WRC style, with everybody staging one minute apart!
