I would still love to know what the rational behind shooting at an elevated target like a freakin' tree was.

These are the types of discharges that incur collateral damage to innocent bystanders 1000 feet away.

i want everyone to learn and shoot a firearm. but not at the risk of harming property, or someone's life or limb.
Of course i thought about it... what do people do when they see their live target up in a tree? dont they shoot at it? Or people hunting on huge plains on TV...if they miss, the bullet will just keep flying, while mine had trees behind it to catch the misses.

Dont worry im not shooting anytime soon...I'm educating myself now
