Hey dude, chill. I never claimed what I said about the laws being accurate. If the guy really wants to know, just walk into a gun store and ask. I mean c'mon we got videos floating around here of Dan (brucelee) shooting some full auto AK47's out in the woods. Shiet man, why don't you go lecture him or something on the gun laws. LOL.

i didnt say EXISTING AWs are illegal.

JUST new ones. or a newly aquired one.

chances are DANs rifles were bought before the stupid *** laws kicked in. and if dan's rifles were not registered with the government, then those rifles are illegal. and probably there were not full auto since they are very highly regulated even before the 1989 laws.

in fact, i was 2 days too late to get a colt AR15.

i was so pissed. and so stupid for waiting so friggin long.

that's why i'm telling everyone who wants to buy a .50 cal BMG now, even if it's just the lower receiver (which the government dictates as the main part of the rifle that needs to be registered).

look, i'm not trying to sound mean or anything. but more and more gun rights are being taken away from law abiding citizens. and giving false info does not help our cause.

yeah.,.. no sh*t...

kalifornians are screwed in this regard.

you can always move out of state, buy all the goodies you want and then wait a few years and then move back in. but you have to register them... but some are illegal and you must get rid of them before you move back in.

one important point: you can get any thing in the world. there is nothing stopping you. just like running a catless car. you will eventually get caught.

me? i'm just paranoid as hell. i like having guns. and getting caught with illegal ones will just lead to me losing all of them...

this state is sucking more and more...

dude check out:

The Traders
685 E. 14th St.
San Leandro, CA 94577
510-569-0555

They had some deals on a rifle like that SOCOM-16, and it looked helluv sweet.

Its basically a semi-auto M-14, which was a great gun.

I'd love to have a gun like that...

i know.. but having a catless pipe vs having a illegal assault rifle is way different. i just want to find a nice middle ground on some guns i can get legally.

i never said that.

i said "IT'S LIKE" running catless. it's illegal only when you get caught.

same thing with having an unregistered "assault" rifle. you can go to the other states, pick up an AR and then bring it back into kalif. no one except you and the vendor know you have it. only when you get caught... well you know...

Give Sportsmans supply in Campbell a try http://www.sportsmenssupply.com/ they have good prices on guns. List price on a M1A Loaded is $1727 and I paid $1500 at Sportsmans for mine. I love the SOCOM, I think I need one.

geez...

buy them out of state. get a local FFL to do the transfer for you. usually, they are cheaper online too...

www.gunsamerica.com

is the last source i bought my handgun from. and yes, it was all legit... and saved over $150 alone from the price if i had gotten it from traders...
