Nice gun you have there I can post it up for you on calguns.net and I can use a e-mail address. Sad to see it go, but you have to do what you have to do.

PPT (private party transfers) is the ONLY LEGAL way for one person NOT RELATED to another to transfer a firearm.
it costs $25 ONLY from an FFL. so dont pay more than that. kalifornia has set that price.
you still have to wait ten 24-hour periods.
so this is not a way to get around the "system".
also, make sure the FFL wont charge you tax. after all, the seller supposedly paid tax for the firearm already.
btw BIG 5 will do a PPT...
btw #2, the buyer will still need to fill out the standard 4473 form, and go through the background check also.

That's $35 not $25.
