yeah, those are two calibers that are pretty much impossible to find. I haven't seen any in stock anywhere for months. Thankfully I had gotten a decent stockpile together so I can still go shooting if I feel like it.

I have ordered quite a few things from cheaperthandirt and never had an issue. I have never ordered ammo from them though. The only annoying thing is that they are very restrictive on what they will sell to California. I have had them not let me order certain things that are perfectly legal here just because there are items similar that aren't.

I've only ordered shotgun ammo from them when my local shop didn't have any in stock. There were great in my opinion, no problems at all and pretty quick shipping.
I can understand them being a bit restrictive on what they ship here. I'm sure the fines are enormous for vendors that ship illegal product to Cali. I can't slight them for erroring on the side of caution.

I agree with Brucelee. It is very clear. At 100yds on 32x, the target is very clear, with a little mirage when the barrel is hot. The scope was a little over $500, but well worth it. I have one just like it on a Rem 700 in .223, and it is nice. I also have a elite 3200 on my 10-22 and it is also very clear. I have seen and used a couple of the cheapies from Bushnell, and I would reccomend the 3200 being the lowest to go. They now have the elite 6500, which I was eyeballing for my custom Mini 14 in .204.

The reason I hate cheaperthandirt is due to the fact that they are NOT cheaper than dirt, nor are they really cheap at all. They used to have good prices on ammo and such when they were fairly new, but now they charge far too much for ammo that you can buy on many other sites for much less... Also, they have the worst stock.
They have some horrible customer service too which left a bitter taste in my mouth.

those are a couple really good sites, I'd stay away from cheaperthandirt.

I have to agree with Brucelee's posts, the only acception to the "buy cheep get cheep" rule I would give is the "BSA" line of scopes. I have 2 of them on rifles that are less important to me, and I must say I am rather impressed with the quality of the build, and the optics.
Now, no they are no where near the quality of Leupold, but unless you are going to be doing some serious hunting at 300-500 yards, the BSA's aren't a bad value for the money.
My question is this, what are you setting the rifle up for? Elk, deer, moose?
