I organized a pismo beach meet for my old acura club two months ago. I think about 70-80 cars showed. It was a great BBQ.
Plus with our AWD, there are places on the beach that we can go off roading for a small fee tons of cars go out there for that sorta thing
" Oceano Dunes is the only California state park where vehicles may legally be driven on the beach.
Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area (formerly known as Pismo Dunes) provides an impressive playground for off-highway enthusiasts"

Hey, hey, hey, it's not that the SF people are lazy or don't care or something; there's been a lot of negativity that occurred a long time ago that killed off SF/DC meets. So don't go around assuming the worst of us old school SF i-Clubbers!
... That being said, have a good time! King of Thai in Lakeshore has plenty of parking!

The old KoT meets, I remember those...good times.
