Guaging interest in a San Francisco Meet
we are trying to guage the interest in a San Francisco meet.
we are looking to meet on Sunday, September 28, 10 AM, at either Crissy Field in the Presidio or the Legion of Honor.
i think we should meet in the Presidio and cruise over to the LOH for pics.
after pics, we are thinking of eating somewhere out in the Richmond or Sunset area.
all ideas for cruise and a place to eat are welcome.

Great idea. SJ has the bulk of the meets, but I know there are a bunch of Subies rolling around the city and just south.
People in SF are either just lazy, unmotivated or uninformed...or perhaps a combination of all 3.

id say marina green would be a nice place, or the parking lot right inside the presidio at chrissy field. those would be good for pictures, and a decent starting place cuz itll put us right near the 1 for a drive somewhere.
or the big parking lot near presidio bowling alley.
and there are so many places to eat in the richmond right in that area, just depends on how many people we get because parking isnt always the best...

btw, imo, best places as far as decent parking and roads would be marina green or the OG spot....ocean beach. park police in the presidio are D's normally.....can't imagine how they'd be when a bunch of subies+heads congregate. cops are gonna cruise by regardless of where y'all meet. they aren't messing around these days.....trust me.

lets drive down lombard all together. i'll sacrifice ...i'll take the pic at the bottom. how many cars do you think it'll take to fill that one block? yes, i'm still this idea from the RX7 people. bunch of show offs with only white RX7s coming down.
that photo has 27 RX7s. if we can get 20, i'm sure we can fill the whole lombard. LOL!!!

its a rare thing to see a pack of subies in the CITY. I think this should be a cool meet, just gotta chill for SFPD. Im over the whole "drive" thing as of right now, im still tramatized from our last 350 mile drive up through the north bay.

The real challenge is going to find a place worth eating that can accommodate all the cars.
