Thumbs up GREAT weekend at Thunderhill

Me, the Visnu crew, Kevin (wrexr) and an amazing Cavalier had a great weekend at Thunderhill. Saturday ended with 2 white Evo's rolling, luckily the drivers came out Ok, thanks roll cage!! Sunday started off wet, ended up drying, then closed track early at 3 due to more rain. Kevin, you have an amazing STi!! Makes me double think about getting an Evo later on post up some pics!! my lazy *** didn't take any...

Ps. *Thumbs up* to the Vishnu Evo's for beating out ALL the Works guys.

I think we can all agree that the Vishnu Evo is one of the best tuner cars out there.

Was up there in my WRX wagon, proving that my autocross tires didn't have enough grip . Headed up there with my Impala SS club.

Had fun though, was the first time I had run Thunderhill in my WRX.

One Evo that rolled had a cage, one didn't. Let's just say pics of the two cars (I got several of each) are a pretty good advertisement for getting a cage installed if you track your car much....

First rollover was on the exit of Turn 2.
He exited too fast- went 4 off- corrected back- shot across- tried to stay on the tarmac- putting his car sideways- went off left side into some soft stuff and rolled a few times- with an instructor in car- driver was ambulanced away as his helmet was pinned by the roof- he was apparently ok, just damn sore to my knowledge.

Second rollover- went into 8 at 100mph- turned in too early- ran out of track- dipped 2 wheels off- caught or corrected back on- started flipping on tarmac across to left side on the uphill- driver lost count of rolls at 5 - walked away clean

I was on track when the second happened. I was able to get video when they brought the second car in on Forklift. Here is a link to NorCalevo pics:

I was at thunder hill the weekend before all of this happened with some friends from team-integra.net It was an interesting track day weather was not on our side, night before track day it was pouring like crazy, then on track day conditions were wet but the sun was perking through the clouds for the first two sessions.

no one rolled but a lot of spinouts.

John
