Sooo I have noticed that the online sessions now have a light and heavy "Mechanical Damage" option. Not sure about light damage, but heavy damage screw your car up pretty bad. It is localized as to where the impact occurs, and there is also pretty substantial body damage as well from my quick experiments

Music library has also been updated with a bunch of music. You can customize all the music on the menus, in game, etc. You now have access to all of the game songs.

Sick! Do you know if they have that option in Arcade/GT Mode as well?

I played GT5.

It is indeed an incomplete game.

The physics, I will admit, are improved, however, NOT complete nor something I would consider the physics of a simulator. It's getting there, but not there yet.

Graphics are a bit disappointing since the GT-series seems to emphasize graphics over physics these days.

It is what I had anticipated, a disappointment. Hopefully they patch everything up, but the fact that it's physics aren't there yet and that Polyphony Digital still brags it as "The Real Driving Simulator" is a load of crap. Despite Forza Motorsport 3's slightly different philosophy, Forza Motorsport 3 is still more realistic in terms of physics.

Thank goodness my friend is only renting it.

I don't care if I sound like a fanboy. All I know is that it's not there yet, and of course it will need work. But it is rather sad how long they've been working on it and they churn out this

Also, the GT-series has always felt more like a game in terms of physics. Forza has this extra bit that makes me feel like I'm controlling a car.

But there is hope (to my own surprise) if they've improved on GT4's sad excuse of a physics system.

I dont think forza's physics is better than GT5

But both can not compare to a PC sim. they beat both of them by far. They have more tunability and better physics.

I think Forza sucked period.

GT5 has its issues but still waaaaaaaaay better. The physics engine in combination with which tires you choose is the deal breaker. Myself I run either comforts or street tires. I'll save the racing tires for the race cars.

I bought an xbox 360 just to play Forza...had it for 1 month. Before GT5 came out...I was still playing GT5p and GT4.

GT5 and Forza are not simulators, their home console games. If Forza didn't try so hard, then I'd prolly appreciate the game. When I was playing Forza, I found myself wanted to play Ridgeracer instead.
