I wonder if they're also running on the Amazon servers that have had problems today.

That is nuts. I know that it sucks, but PSN is a FREE service. Maybe everyone should just get lives, or at least another hobby :|

I don't think the hackers did any real damage, probably just got in and then shut down. PSN is being upgraded and security increased so it'll take a minute to put it back up. PSN is free and never had an issue like this before, so if they need to take a little extra time fine by me.

Is it a typical B-Spec driver thing to do really well in a few races then completely blow in another? I just started B-Spec and I think at lvl 4 or 5. My driver did great in a few races then put him in that Vitz race and he sucked major *****. I did the same race in A-Spec and won easily, should I upgrade the car some more for him or does he just need to keep racing/winning?

I think it depends on the characteristics of your driver. I have most of mine on hot and they do well most of the time.

If its a One Make event you should upgrade the car, the vehicle being stock is too competitive for AIs, engine lvl3, transmission, Racing hard tires, and racing suspension should do the trick. If not time to shed weight. (I know it sucks to pour that much money into a car for only one event but sometimes you need to tilt the event in your favor.)
