D'OH! guess i was so tired from karting i was confused on the days. but i still won't be able to make it tonight.
i thought the game saves were PS3 dependent. if you load your game save in another PS3, it wouldn't work.

Is there any way to transfer someone's game onto a new playstation? All that work down the drain, and no I don't want to re-start. Please tell me I can at least get some of my time back (I played a couple hours a few days a week). My PS is gone... Can game data be transfered from someone else's game? Anyone willing to give me their game data if I bring my new PS3 (well, no new, re-furbished) to your house? I can bring you a 6 pack or something.
I have no interest in playing now that I'm in the beginning (as in ZERO game data). SOOOOOOOOO FRUSTRATING!!!!
(PS got stolen, so memory card + unit and game = gone)

Dan, save games are weird and can't be replicated like that, but I'm sure a bunch of people (myself included) would be happy to kick you over some cars to get you started again. Once they start the seasonals again, there's a lot of easy money there too.
Sorry about your PS3, that's some ****. Buddy of mine just got a YLOD last night too - he had a level 31 game going, so you're not alone in having to start from scratch.

newyorkreloaded fried his PS3 too and lost a level 30+ b-spec driver.
i'm getting paranoid, is there a way to backup your saves, or did they just kill that altogether since people were cloning accounts

Yeah I noticed he hasn't logged on for a while, bummer!!just plug in an USB drive and go to your game saves.press triangle then copy it to the drive.I was using 2 Accts passing out cars and they're still both fine but I just can't use the same ps3 now.it's literally 1 car to gift a day on the ps3 regardless if you have multiple usernames in it.
