All I have to say is , this will probably be the last GT game I'll buy. Too much drama and delays. Everything builds up inside of you only for disappointment, then hope, then disappointment again.
Besides, by the time GT6 comes out, give or take 10 years, I'll be freakin' 55 and too old for this ****!! Lol

A few days old but still some more light shining on a 2010 release.

While speaking with Jalopnik today at SEMA, Kazunori Yamauchi stopped short of providing a new release date, but was able to confirm the game discs are being stamped (produced) right now:
“The discs are being stamped as we speak.”
This means the gold master copy of the game has been delivered from Polyphony Digital, and should help calm any fears about it slipping into 2011. Thanks to Tomo for sending this in so quickly!

LOL I can't wait either although Ive never been that great with GT games lol And I should have my steering wheel/pedals ghetto rig'd setup so I can finally use a steering wheel with GT. Noticed I was a lot better using a steering wheel in GT Prologue over the standard controller.

Didn't see it confirmed before, but just read the release info and the course making feature made it. Read more on it, and it's not crazy in-depth (Yamauchi said it was too complex) but still looks very cool.
This will definitely be a game to get lost in for a very long time, too much great stuff.
