I have been stockpiling the oldschool racers, 510s, bellets, gt-rs and have been so far dissapointed with their performance, but they work out great in replay.

Anyone into the oldschool cars?

Audi R8 is the ****. I just don't like the prize cars you can't sell, some of them are alright, but the Nike car pisses me off.

 

yea my spec-c (in gt4, i only wish i had one IRL) is fully done up at this point. The only thing I haven't been able to beat is the Audi R8 that you have to race in the rain for the Hard level Tsukuba rally event. That thing 0wned me. Everything else tho is just fodder. With the super soft tires, the braking and handling is truly unreal, and the stage4 power mods make acceleration just stupid fast.

 

imported 100k, got the white spec-c with gold te37's. lol.

dominated the japanese circuits with it. it's actually one of the faster 1/4 mile cars in my garage! it's also on my short list of favorite cars, of which the LMP cars in my garage are NOT on.

 

i thought about getting the R8...how does that compare to the other super cars in the game?

Didn't import. Haven't bought anything yet. The only cars I've got so far are the ones from the license exams. I bought the game the day it released, but I've only had a couple of evenings at it so far.
