yeah..my bonus got hammered. haven't looked close enough to see percentages but I think it was like 43% or some crap. Lame man. I think it should be illegal to tax bonuses. So weird how taxes work. We get double tripple taxes on things. Hey lets tax when they earn it. Then tax when they spend it. Taxes on everything. Now they want to tax more..it's like back in the bible times man. The tax collectors could tax however they felt was right. If they wanted to earn more...tax more.
I"m in a pissed mood right not. I need a new job..anyone hiring non degree holding designers with good skills and 8 years experience.

if any good will come out of my financial misery, it's that I also got a $400 recognition award from work...that's $400 after taxes.
Makes the thought of making "easy" money more tempting, but then I remember I'm a small dude and the thought of getting killed or becoming someone biatch in jail just doesn't work for me. heh
Happy Friday to you all...

I was self employed last year and just rolled out the final numbers for taxes and WTF!! Honestly I hate taxes but I could feel better about it if I saw that the tax dollar was really going to something important. I just don't get how we don't have money for education, social security and other important programs when we get taxed so high. Man this thread is depressing..
