it doesn't really. you have 3 options though... buy it out and keep it modded, de-mod it and turn it in at the end, or trade it in (or sell) with enough de-modding to make it legal.

i bought my lease out after i'd had all my mods installed and tuned. there's no dealing with the dealership, no smog, and only a title transfer with the DMV when you buy out a lease.
