Police in California get paid incentives for appearing in court but not for writing a rebuttal, which would be required of them in a trail by written dec. So many are acquitted simply for the fact the officer didn't have time/or didn't want to spend time writing a rebuttal. Also, considering the time of night and the flow of traffic, I think you have a good shot. Whatever you do, do not just pay the ticket, it is your right to contest any citation and you have nothing to lose by doing so. Try it, it worked for me. Read up, and good luck!!
I'll have to check that out. Thanks for the info.

I am not worried about paying the ticket (I have tried to make that clear). It is the fact that the cop pulled out on to the highway in the darkness of the night without any kind of lights on that pisses me off.

Thanks Semp. Honestly I am glad I was in The PedoVan, because if I was in ANY other kind of vehicle, I would have been going a lot faster.

Yeah, I didn't think that you were asking how to get out of it. My comment was to the other poster.

ticketassassin kinda S.U.C.K.S.!!!

I got a ticket in late Jan. 2009 & joined ticketassasin in Feb. 2009. I paid the membership ($25) via PayPal. I was promised a direct email link from ticketassassin. NEVER happened. Plus, they keep sending me a reminder to pay for the membership (which I did on same day I joined). I sent them many emails regarding this matter, but nobody responded. No phone no. listed... just useless email.

I was able to use some of the infos/examples (in hidden link) from their website. I don't mind to pay for service, but I should receive the service as promised, especially if I paid already. PM me if you want the link.

It may be too late now, but you probably could have gotten your money back from PayPal.

This is a myth.

You can ask, but they are not required by law to show you the reading.
