Daughter or cousin or something a ticket to teach them a lesson. Man it really crushs my spirits. He even asked my how man tickets I have. Truth is, I have been clean fir a few years... So I guess he threw the book at me...

Yup, he is EXTREMELY Famous for this stuff (on Multiple car forums). When Speed Element moved in to their current location they did a BBQ & Raffle. Lots of people showed up. Rosette shows up and pulls over one of the cars that was going down the street and proceeds to give him a ticket right there in the parking lot right next to Speed Element. This is with maybe 50 - 100 people standing around watching him do this. He obviously knew what was going on and decided to be a douche anyways.

The turbo has nothing to do with smog. Stock vs 35r has no difference. Keep the turbo and tune one the car just swap the down pipe and use a stock exhaust.

Even though we both know the turbo really has minimal impact on emissions, CARB says otherwise. I hate them! I mean really, isn't it the emissions level what really counts?? Not what intake I have that doesn't have some stupid sticker on it...

I just don't understand why it matters what you have on the car! As long as it passes the smog test why does it matter what's on the car if it passes emission's! I get crap about my exhaust how loud it is, those Harley's are way louder then my car and they don't get ****. Got to love California, they really care alot about the smog laws lol, if they really cared so much about pollution they would not be running this crap gasoline we have! We hav had E85 for years and they rather run crap gas over E85 that is way cleaner for the environment! We have a cop in Petaluma who is on the same track as this cop that pulled you over....... Guy has giving my wife a tint ticket 2 times now and pulled me over for my exhaust!

If u live in Fremont, then no. I'm sure he keeps a record of all the cars he's pulled over throughout the years. He's gonna keep harassing people for as long as he works as an officer.

its technically legal for an 04-05 to have a sti intercooler, vf39 w/ 2.5 etc. ive never been refd but how do they go about checking your block and heads and such?

that really sucks for you cue, thats why i avoid the east bay because they're waaay stricter than any other place ive been possibly due to the backlash from all the racing in the late nineties/early 2000.
