ack.... sorry to hear man. I actually just got my car back from a rear ending not too long ago. It was really similar (but a little less severe) to yours... mostly on left side (left taillight gone, bumper buckled).

That's one of the main reasons why I stay away from 580 if I can. Lucky for me I exit at 11th to get to my house, but I'd rather take my chances driving tesla road up through livermore and into tracy. It may add about 20-30 minutes, but it's worth it to not be sitting in traffic.

I agree though, push for it to be totalled. And you are damn lucky to not be seriously injured. +1 for Subaru safety.

Dude what you described gave me some freakin chills bro. I lost my evo that way. same thing except thatthe guy who hit me was doing 55, and my spedometer stuck at 45 when i hit the explorer right in front of me. front to back total. 85% destroyed.

but like the others said, see a chiro man, your back and neck might be a bit tweaked..
