Theyre gonna have some fun trying to turn bart 90 degrees and then having it go back to san jose in an estimated 74 years -rolls eyes-

I hope they keep the name too, even if it doesnt make much sense. Does anyone know if the city of Oakland has any rights to the name, like can they decide to tell the A's they cant use Oakland in the name?
I heard rumors of "Golden State Athletics" which i kind of like. As long as it isnt Fremont A's, or San Jose A's i'll be happy.

traffic in that area already sucks. with the addition of the ballpark, it's going to suck 20 times more now. I feel bad for the people who already have a 3 hour commute from san jose to tracy, now it'll be more like 4 hours.
If it did take place, i'd make the franchise pay to build the infrastructure to support the new ballpark and have it in place before the team is allowed down. But we all know fremont will pass that cost to the taxpayers, and let the team move with no sufficient infrastructure and the people will suffer and the city officials will profit.
