Good Spring Set Up

Soooooooo.....

I'm going back to stock. No more car mods, camber, slammed ride height, hellaflush, etc, etc.

BUT. and this is a HUGE BUT. I can't stand the stock ride height. Once I get a set of stock wheels, whats a good set of springs to get just to lower my stock ride height a little bit? I will be using my stock shocks. I want something lower than stock but not TOO low because I want to be able to take it up to the snow. If you have side profile pictures of your setup, that would be extremely helpful. Thanks guys!

And if anyone is wondering, I am going back to stock because I wanna trade my car in for an SUV or a forester. I need more room for my dog, and maybe soon to be dog(s)

Got some cobb's on 07 struts for sale. 2" up front...and better than s-techs.

Cobb or Eibach.

Cobb arent as low but they are a good height and will ride nice and just fill in the tire-fender gap.

Eibachs are a little lower with a great ride still. I am getting the eibachs pretty soon and I plan on going to tahoe and to the snow and stuff.

Just for reference, i'm slammed on coils with snowtires and I live in the snow and have no issues...well besides the fact that I can plow roads.

swift springs. The drop is perfect and the ride quality is pretty close to stock springs.

I was on Ground Control / Koni for a while and recently went back to stock dampers. Epic springs -- sort of an update of Prodrives.

The stock dampers obviously aren't the equal of the Konis, but I'm pleased with the Epics. Stiffer than stock but not by a whole lot, lower than stock but not crazy.

If you're gonna be using stock struts I'd go with something like some spt springs or maybe a cobb or prodrive set up. If you can find a set, crucial might work out for you.

I would just avoid any of the super stiff springs like swift, RCE and the super drop stuff like Tein and tanabe.

i know two people on swifts (07sti and 06wrx), i think they are designed for stock struts... no complaints, and they look good too

i have Epic Engineering Progressives on my07 ltd wagon...

i think it lowered it about 1" overall.

rode nice with the oem struts. Do you want linear or progressive rates?

you might want to check those out as well.
