Story is i was at the NASA HPDE event on 5/23.
Took turn six too fast, came off the turn way too fast, put the right two tires off track, got scared, lifted from the gas, and spun. I hit the left side of the track, a dirt and mud embankment almost head on. Everyone was unhurt, just damage to the car, and a hurt ego.

Wow congrats on getting it covered, glad no one was hurt.

I predict >$10k in damages and a cancelled insurance policy.

Good to hear that the insurance company is covering the damages. I was the other i-club member who went off track that day. Mine is a lot milder though (trying to pass a WRX going into T-11), and it was in my CRX not my WRX. Just glad that you are not hurt.
