Talking Good lawd, you know it's HOTTT when...

...your car has been off all day, and when you start it up to drive home (~5.30PM) your oil temp gauge immediately says it's already at 40 degrees Celsius!!!

For the metrically challenged...that's 104 deg F.

This is downtown San Jose, near the airport...

Anyone else have some great stories about the heat?

Also:
-STI temp gauge reads 109 deg F when I get home in Campbell at 6.30PM
-home exterior temp gauge reads 90 deg F at 8PM tonight

My dad's '03 outback overheated today. He limped it back home then we got the radiator / overflow refilled with distilled water. He drove it after that and it seems fine now, hopefully no damage happened to the block.

my office in SOMA yesterday....AC broke and not working, servers over-heating and whirring like a ****, reached almost 90 inside the office, everyone's complaining, fans re-directed to the servers and away from people.

At home - 92 degrees inside, no AC wife and daughter complaining, too hot to cook but hungry....
