Question Good Happy Hour Spots in SF??

Hey all,

Just wondering where the good Happy Hour spots in the city are.....preferably in the Downtown/Financial District Area. I'm getting together w/a few buds I haven't seen in a while tomorrow night, and we're all kinda clueless, since we do most of our schmoozing late night.

Yes, thx in advance! lol

CL

thx for the replies/suggestions, guys.

i know it kinda goes against the whole Happy Hour vibe, but i'm kinda looking for a spot that's not real raucous..........as mentioned, i haven't seen these dudes in a while, so we just wanna chill and catch up w/out having to fight big crowds+a lota noise.

anyone know if the embarcadero mccormick+schmick's has HH? i used to go to the one in Pasadena/SoCal pretty often. Their HH appetizers were pretty dang good and semi-cheap, esp for that place.

well, keep the other suggestions coming.

and, yeah, an I-Club HH would be fun.

just got back from HH @ Voda Lounge on Belden......not bad but not great. $3 gimlets were ok, but the appetizer menu was limited and not all that for $5.75.......yakitori chicken stix, steamed MINI-dumplings, spicy tuna+california rolls. the turnout was kinda low, but quality was there. too bad my lil cuz was in attendance or i might've took a swing or two. one Asian hunny playing wing girl was especially cute!

anyways, i think we will try poleng lounge or mccormick's next.
i'll keep palomino in mind...been there for lunch+dinner several times but a coupla years ago. one market was suggested by several co-workers, but a close bud of mine says it kinda blows.

my head is spinning, so i'm out. someone get a HH going here. it's nice to be back in the saddle again.
