I've used food poisoning personally. Apparently I eat alot of ****ty foods...

I personally like what my boss says, "I'm taking my parents to the airport"... "i'll be back by xxx time". He leaves halfway through the day, then you never hear from him again. He does this a good 3-4 times a month

blah blah blah...

Who says just because you call in sick when you aren't sick that your work isn't getting done?? Sometimes it is good to take a relaxing day off, where you can sit around the house and do absolutely ****ing nothing, good for your stress levels

I plan with my co-workers. We all do it so no one gets screwed over when we need a day off. It's healthy.

As an employee for over a year and a half at my current job, I can honestly say that iv'e only called in sick four times.... and three of the times were due to some sort of racing event.
I used.
"my shoulder (that i dislocated 3 times already) is hurting and I don't want to be a safety hazard to the company."
"fever + allergies"
and of course i was hung over as hell one morning and used the "cough cough im sick today and cant make it"... and of course they questioned the hell outta me when i came in the next day healthy as a morman.

I haven't.. and I wont

at my job, when I am not here, my co-workers have to pick up my slack and it is not fair to them or the customers for me to do that to them.

I have called in sick before when I was actually ill, and when I do that, I work from home and still get my work done.

I have never called in sick to play hookie from work. congratulations on being a drag on society.

i either work from home or come in early or leave late to cover the time I missed. Or I just take a vacation day. unless I am really sick...

Then again, as a softare engineer and on salary. it really doesn't matter. I just get my things done and my boss never have any issues with me taking time off. Plus, I am always ahead of schedule, never behind.

haha i guess it really depends on what kinda work you do and who your boss is if you have one..
my boss happens to be a 65 year old perv that was convicted of cultivation of marijuana (thx to public records @ the crim justice room) [ not that growin is a bad thing... but TWICE..] okay... and he gives max raises to girls that are bomb, and treats his hard workers like ****.. (me..)
so yeah, ill call in sick whenever i want, but im more ethical than that.

damn... you need to see someone, you seem a little uptight... you only live once, take a day off randomly and treat the lady to a surprise beach day!!!

...unless their is no lady...

It's healthy to be compulsive every now and then and any square who never misses a day of work has no life... and probably no family or friends lol
