Luxor is great. Just dont go trying to look outside from yoru room when you are hammered or you will get a forehead full of window.

There is NOT ONE SINGLE redeeming feature about that craphole that makes it worth going there. Just take my advice and stay the hell away from that place.

meh, stayed there and didn't like it. Like I said above in a previous post, hallways are dark and smelled. Fridge was absolutely useless and was filled with canned soda that cost you like $3 if u touch it.

Maid service came into my room at 8:30 am....while I was half asleep, only because I didn't have the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door (I thought maid service doesn't arrive till at least 10:30-11:00am). I thought my room was being broken into.

Tv wasn't a flat panel tv They had a nice bathroom though.

XS is beyond insane. $15k for a cabana during weekend parties.

That being said; was just in Vegas last month, stayed @ Treasure Island for about $60/night. Best deal evar. We also checked out Pure @ Cesars, Tabu @ MGM. We were gonna check out The Bank @ Bellagio, but heard Pete Wentz/Ashley Simpson were there having a bday party, feh.

Back in my college days, The Beach was always an easy good time, is that place even still open?

Bring us back some of the little escort cards the mexicans hand out on the strip. haha! No matter what, stay away from Thunder Down Under.

You didn't see them? I was there during Memorial Day and I saw them. If u walk on the sidewalk right next to City Center, there's tons of those cards littered all over the place. They still do that lil "banging the cards together" sound to get you to look at them lol

Also saw these guys selling water bottles in coolers next to the Bellagio. The next day I walked past them, there was a bicycle cop there who gave them a citation lol

Alright so this is the deal.

We are arriving on a Wednesday morning and staying in the 2 bedroom Suite at Palms Place Wednesday and Thursday. SO NICE and we got a great deal. Then for Friday and Saturday, we are staying at Imperial Palace because it's hella cheap and we'll be too drunk to remember the room anyways.

I'm excited.

I had to mention my Vegas saying...

What happens in Vegas, will give you a burning sensation.

The end.

I tried both Bellagio and The Wynn buffet. I favor The Wynn, but either way they are both pricey and arguably overrated, but because of the hype a lot tend to see that.

Luxor rooms in the pyramid suck. They are dated and overpriced unless you get a good deal.

If you drive or have a car when you are there, I never had a problem getting a cheaper nicer room off the strip, besides the room is just for sleeping in

BUMP! - My wife and I eloped to Vegas in April and will be heading back this weekend, August 8 - 12.

We will be staying at Mandalay Bay (The Hotel) and already have a few things planned - we're seeing Jay Leno on Saturday, we have a Suite reserved for Sunday night (really nice Vista Suite) to chill in and Monday we have a Cabana reserved by the pool.

What else could we do that is relatively inexpensive and fun? I want to stay near Mandalay because I recently broke my elbow, walking/traveling is a hassle (we will have a tram pass though) I'd love to hear some cool places to get lunch or have some drinks (not big on crowded clubs Name: blankface.gif

Our Tuesday is pretty open so I'm trying to figure out what to do now, rather than lose money in the casino or walk around aimlessly.
