nice game by the Lake Show! Although Kobe had a great scoring night w/45 pts, Kwame was really the MVP+difference. Dude played w/a lot of heart, which was real nice. Hopefully the other guys will be energized & inspired as well and come out swinging again on Sunday to even things up.

That was an Awesome game. The best I've seen the LakeShow play all year. I hope thay can tie it on Sunday 2 - 2 but not sure if they can sustain that kind of energy level and play. Kobe can but what about the supporting cast like Odom, Brown, Walton, etc etc etc....

 

just more proof that by definition and performance kobe should get the MVP award this year.


It sucks that it really only goes to the best guy on one of the best teams because kobe should get it this year. Without him there is no way they even make the playoffs let alone compete and possibly advance.

ough, tough loss

i really thought we had a shot at this one. despite, nash+amare's hot start, we were still right there w/them, but we mysteriously just fell apart after playing decent in the 1st half.

kobe had a decent game stat-wise, but dude just didn't look like himself out there......indecisive when pulling up/getting caught in the air not as aggressive as i'd like him to have been. it's cool the others were contributing more early on, and i guess dude was trying to keep them involved. but, fact is, we need dude's pts. every single game.

it ain't over, but, regardless of the outcome, things are gonna have to change and A LOT during the offseason. like jon barry said (and most of us Lakers fans already know), lamar's nice, but he and kobe just aren't a winning combo for us. we're gonna need to just bite the bullet and package him w/whatever trade bait we have and get someone else in here.

oh well, terrible way to start off this day, but maybe the Warriors can come through for me.

 

Ouch, that hurt. Kobe is looking exhausted and frustrated. Not looking good. The light at the end of the tunnel just got darker.
