yup, tough loss for the Lake Show, but hat's off to the homesquad.

as mentioned, i knew it wasn't good to let them hang around. KB+Co really shouldn't tried to push the lead to at least double digits by the break, but oh well......

everyone could see that KB wasn't his usual self, esp down the stretch. it woulda been nice to at least have had the ball in his hands during crunch time, but i guess dude really was hurting. i hope his injury isn't too serious.

lamar had decent 3.5 quarters w/a solid double-double, but, man, guy's decision making+inconsistent play during $$$ time is pretty frustrating. we really need a SOLID 2nd scoring option and another dude w/some killer instinct to take over in situations like these when KB's hobbling or having an off game.

anyways, congrats again to the W's. it def looked like a real fun night at the O-rena. i almost bit on some tix my boy had (not his but the season tix holder next to him). i couldn't pull the trigger at $150 each just for a regular season game tho. it's just as well, some hyphy W's fan prolly would've thrown a beer on the white LAKERS Starter jacket I was gonna wear anyways.

I hope Kobe sits out and Baron Davis (or SJax) gets a call this morning that he's in the all star game.

 

yeah, it would've been nice if KB just sat out of Sunday's ASG and given B-Diddy a shot at being named an alternate, but oh well, KB is still the old KB sometimes.

on a brighter note, the NEW+IMPROVED (thx, Gasol!!) Lake Show is still rolling..........diff squad but KB+Co still handing out the same ol' beatdowns on Cry-Bibby!

too bad, the W's had to start back up against the Jazz. those guys are playing real good ball, esp. Deron.

can't wait until tomorrow night's game against PHX. hopefully Big Snaq suits up. it'll be weird seeing him running w/the enemy, but it should be a good game regardless of whether he plays or not.

i jsut moved to the bay area from socal, glad to see there are some fellow laker fans up here. sad that i won't be able to watch much of the lakers anymore unless they are on abc, espn, or tnt.
