Destiny is overrated. I am a firm believer that fate only brings you SO far to something...its up to you to make a rational decision and either go for it or pass it up.

Nothing is certain in life and your decisions reverberate farther than you can see.

However, and it may just be me, but I can think of nothing cuter/more awesome than having 2 subies parked in front of a house...

aka slamming on the brakes at the last minute when you see the red light from a mile away...why do all women (that i've encountered) do that!?
Amen on the scaring the **** out of me -- and yeah, I think all women brake at the last minute for red lights. It's ridiculous.

From a psychological perspective it could be due to the fact that as men, we just have better spatial perception on average.

Of course, that is just due to us having more testosterone in our system - women have about 10% as much as we do normally. During their cycle though, it can go upwards of 15-24% as much and their spatial abilities increase dramatically.

Same goes for estrogen and verbal communication.

Is there some link between testosterone and spatial perception that I'm unaware of?

It's nice to have the common interest but, it's not a deal breaker. I don't feel like there is a special connection. Sometimes it could be a pain. I dated a guy who found out my MR2 was faster then his, he spent the rest of our relationship making sure his was faster. It got really annoying after a year & was one of the many reasons it ended.

Yup, I agree with you... I'm glad my wife is a girly girl... My ex was into guy stuff to a degree that it was a turn off... I mean, she liked all the same things I did, and hated girl things... At one point I had to question my sexuality...

Thankfully my wife hates all the stuff that I do, and I'm FINE with that!

it's also not good when their car is faster. Trade cars?

i get the feeling that some people think i'm talking about myself... i don't know any girls who drive subies, or any girls who drive the same car as any of my previous cars. it was more a question out of curiosity.

but i agree with most of you that it would probably only go so far as having a similar interest in cars.
