Kellie....take the Liscense plate number to DMV....tell them whats up, that you have this "abandoned" car at your complex and you wanna know if the car is registered, and who the owner is, cuz you wanna buy it.....they will be able to tell you, then, also talk to the manager of your complex, to find out about the owner as well....THEN, if she is still "around," go find out about it. Thats what I would do.

Good news. The apartment manager was really excited when I told him that I wanted to buy this car and fix it. One less abandoned car for him to deal with having towed, I guess. He looked up the apartment number, then called the guy and left a message. I'm going to stop by and knock on their door later this evening, so hopefully we can work something out. Yay!

I drove around and took mental notes of all the abandoned cars in the lot, and I swear, my neighbors are all insane. There's a Galant, a later model MX6, a Chrysler something, a Toyota, a paint peely American old-person car, some crappy muscle car, an old Honda motorcycle, a BMW 745 something with a smashed front end, and a few others. Holy cow, it's a gold mine.

that's an assigned spot. Just talk to your building manager and then leave a note for the person.

If that doesn't work. Get it towed. When it's not collected you can purchase it.

kellie....your apartement complex is nuts. Mine is FULL insanely. Not only that..the spots are small and people park like *******s. on more than one occassion I've made it known how I feel about someone's parking with them able to hear me and left a couple notes...last night I got home around midnight. I had to park on the otherside of the complex. I was so pissed...like 6 spots had people overlapping into them..the one I parked in was door ding heavin. I hope I woke the bastards up when I laid into my accelerator.

I have my cadi parked under my overhang and that's not changing anytime soon.

I just went around the entire parking lot and snapped pics of every single abandoned car. Gimme some time to resize and put 'em up.

Errr...actually, that one's not there anymore. I guess it wasn't really abandoned.

I need to snap a picture of the sexy Legacy that's usually parked here. It's really fancy.

Yeah, most of the ones with fully inflated tires probably aren't abandoned. Tires deflate after a couple months without being moved.

That's okay, he definitely lives here. I'll try to take a picture tomorrow morning before I leave for school. Stay tuned, folks. Suby with spinners is on its way.

Edit: Kevin, the ones with tags that expired 6 months to 3 years ago are definitely abandoned. I assumed the same went for the ones with no plates, but I guess I was wrong.

Pfff, I've been 7 months expired on my car before. Don't jump to conclusions.
