Getting fix it ticket signed off

Who has had this done before?

What do they check? Do they match your VIN with the one on the ticket? What do they do as far as confirming it is the actual vehicle that was ticketed?

Just wondering of course.

Ok, so if it is removed, what do they check when you bring it to them to get signed off? Do they look at anything other than its a Subaru with no tint?

well if its only a fix it ticket they have no right to check for anyhting else unless they have a reason too... so to say weapons? drugs? open alcohol? but of course that wouldnt happen. usually its just go to an officer you see and ask them to sign the ticket stating that you have removed your window tints.

Ok, what if the car has a modified exhaust and is catless? Think they will say anything about it?
