I put a JDM Sti cluster in my bugeye and you have to snip a wire so it dozen blow your stereo fuse. I forget which wire it is though. Ther is a thread on nasioc that will explain. I then just put a conector on either side of the wire so I could plug it back together if I ever went back to a usdm cluster.

Oh and the outside plugs get flip flopped if I remember right. And snip that wire on the center plug and your set. I blew my stereo fuse a few times before I caught on

Also, you'd want to change the KPH to MPH. They do make a plug and play connector. Just take the old speedo cable out from the trans and put the new one in. Here's the link

I'd be willing to help you if you drove to my location.

If you haven't dealt with this kindof install before I can see where you might be skeptical, but as for plug and play, really that's all there is. if you have problems adjusting to kph then you should just get the converter or practice with kph lol...

you take out the gauge cluster surround, its just a few screws. Then you just unplug all three connectors and plug in the new one.

Do you know what they charge? I know Tacoma is $80 for the mileage adjustment, but you have to deal with shipping it and turnaround time, whereas PASpeedo is right down the street from Gordon Biersch!

You have a v8 cluster that needs cutting going into the 02-03 bugeye right? V7 clusters are plug and play for 02-03's?

The place in PA that updates mileage wanted $150 a couple of years ago when I asked. I just bought an 04 cluster with unknown mileage thinking that I was going to go through this again and provide an update to this thread but I got my cluster and it is within 500 miles of my actual mileage!
