Hi everybody, many of you knew that i take much pride putting together the great drives the i-club has to offer. Many of them have been challenging and hard on cars (including wreckage), but all have been very fun and entertaining. I know that it's been since last summer that i've put on a drive, so many of the new faces around here might not know my rep for drives, but ask around. Many of the old schoolers that like to drive can tell you of past drives.
People, this time we will be running in the dirt. So all you guys with your "trailer queens" do not apply. Dirt tends to mean "chips" in your paint. which sucks but for the hardcore it's worth it.
Route will be posted in the "Meets Forum" by next weekend. I will however tell you it'll be starting in the North Bay and include the Clear Lake area and possibly some of the North Coast.
Scouting will be done next weekend so i can get the time and mileage of this event. Which will include a lunch stop as well as gas stops.
Let me know if you are interested.

Hey Rich,
I found some really neat dirt roads when I was up in the Clear Lake area last year. Any idea when you're planning to do the actual run?

just any tire you don't mind wearing out the edges on. Something all weather will do fine. Much of the drive will have transit parts on tarmac and you'll still want decent grip there.
I will be taking off my 17" wheels with the PS2's on and putting on my stock wheels. Not that you have to. i've done all these dirt roads on 17's. it's just that i don't near any more wear on the $ tires.
