Yeah man, it's getting retarded... If everyone just stopped getting gas for 1 whole day, the prices would drop significantly. Someone should organize a serious day like that.

That's still half the price of what it is in Europe.

Even low grade diesel gas is about $5.50 a gallon!!! (1.20 Euros for a liter. 1 Euro is about 1.30USD. 4 liters per gallon @ 1 dollar = $4 + the $1.20 from the Euro difference = $5.20).

Petrol is typically about .20cents more per liter.

Really? I doubt this. I saw a Chevron on University in Palo alto with 92 but it's just a left over sticker from when CA actually got 92 octane. Its 91, I'm pretty sure.

I had to spend $30 for 11 gallons the other day. That is so ridiculous! $2.59 for premium seems to be the cost in Fremont.

Yeah, our gas prices suck! That's for sure! But since my last trip to Italy, I've learned not to complain (too much!)! Now they pay throught the nose, but at least most stations are full serve!

I'd doubt that. Quick and easy way to have your gas station shutdown. Gasoline sales are highly regulated.
