Yep, or the oil is too deep, or its a side pool of someone elses oil. There is a ton out there, but its still kind of a crap shoot to hit a good one. Now that said one you hit, it lasts 10-50 years before you even have to go to kracking.

How deep is too deep? Whats a normal depth for oil extraction?

Tracy, which normally has cheaper gas then the bay, was 3.75 for 87. This sucks.

It's all about speculators driving up commodity prices, and when demand craters (like it did in late 2008), prices will quickly follow.

I wouldn't mind getting one about now since my dad has a Diesel tank at his ranch so I would get it for free. Also I think gas prices won't go down because we all just complaint but don't actually do anything, so as long as we keep paying for it it will keep on going up.
