yeah i hear that a lot, its probably is a psychological thing but not all of us believe that most of the gas is the same and still feel better going to shell, cheron or 76.

Don't the bigger name gas stations have additives in the gas to justify the higher costs. i.e. chevron has techron and 76 has propower. I thought that you are getting the benefit of fuel injector cleaners and other additives that the cheaper stations like safeway or costco don't offer. Also, Vishnu reccomends using 76 as they have seen less knock with 76 than other fuels. Not that vishnu knows everything, but I think they are a reputable source of info.

hey whats mbquarts, you forgot about shell's Z(?) power or whatever it is. whats up with that?

haha i was talking to my vw GTI friends and apparently the subaru community wasnt the only ones that was poorly treated by vishnu. well that was back then and i heard they got a lot better...right?

anyway:

I forgot what shell's additive was called...I've heard good and bad stories about vishnu, but on the whole I would say they know what they're doing.

i bet a lot of people know what they are doing, its just whether or not they are willing to help you. its a small world man, if you dont treat your customers right, word gets around man.
