I wished I had your income. =(
My choices are, "Hmm..fill up my gas tank or ride BART." LOL
My vote still stands for the BMW. To most normal people, a BMW's a BMW. Most people don't care where it stands in the BMW food chain. If you like that car more, then go for it.

Watch out with BMW's "free maintenance". My parents had that sh*t and the f**kiing dealership didn't EVER change the transmission fluid at the regular 30K or 60K mile services. Needless to say, the tranny failed at 83K and was $3600 to replace. They claimed that it doesn't need to be changed unless the tranny fluid light comes on. cough...bullsh*t...cough....
-Brian
Oh, and the dealership wanted ~$5000 to replace the tranny.

Also your $$$ assumption seems like your in the right neighborhood. Feel free to look me up if you actually go the Infiniti direction. Or maybe you have friends / family / i-clubbers in the market for an Infiniti. I'll hook them up!
Cheers,

i'd say lease the bimmer. no worries about paying for maintenance. the lease will be over before the warranty is over and most likely you'll be ready to move on to another car by that time.
