I'm not on the 1 series bandwagon. The BMW is smaller and uglier.... G37s gets my vote
... until they decide to bring over the 135i hatch at least.

at one point my mom was in a debate between the g35 and a bmw 330.. same idea. prive versus value versus reputation and just overall quality. eventually we decided the g35 would be a good compromise. i always regreted steering her towards the infiniti after that. we sold it soon after. lesson learned; bmw is the ultimate driving machine and pretty much nothing in the same class can beat it. id say spend the extra dough and be one of the first to have a one series. that thing will decimate all with overnight parts from japan.

my roommate just got the g37s a few months back and loves it. i've driven it a few times and good lord is it beefy. great pick-up, solid stance and it feels like a lux sports car.
but imo, everyone is getting an infiniti these days...maybe that is because my roommates drive brand new g's and my best buddy just picked up a g35s as well, but everywhere i look, there are more and more infinitis mobbing around.
i don't know jack about bmw but man that one looks amazing. and personally, i hold BMW in a completly different class than infiniti.
just my .02, doubt it will help. now sell me your damn horns dawg!

my prices have the destination charge added in, and also the 8.25% tax and 200 for reg. gonna have to wait to test drive the 135i, i guess i can go without the comfort access. Ahh

both are awesome cars but:
- get the 135 and you're still at the bottom of the BMW totem pole. You may not care, but this fact is still out there. No matter its performance it'll still be seen by people as the poor man's bmw
- get the g37 and it's cheaper and I bet you can option your car out with nice sports and entertainment packages and match the price of the 135

i actually looked at used elises ... but i dont think i can justify paying that much for a used car that has so little amenities. I think when i can get a second car, i'm gonna go for an atom.
