FYI: Cobb Stage 2.5 (VF34) Dyno Numbers
Take this with a small piece of crystallized sodium chloride...but:
From this thread:
The other graph is the same car with Cobb Stage 2 on the same dyno.
He has almost identical mods to my car, and I ran 215/210 at ATP's dynojet. With the same percentage gains, I would probably be somewhere around 260hp to the wheels. Party on.

That is damn impressive! Cobb never ceases to amaze me, they are always talking about "well we are keeping the margin of safety" but 270 to the wheels with exhaust, turbo and injectors is damn impressive!
Has anyone used a vf22 with the cobb map?

I would say that you can't use the VF22. Things that build boost differently wouldn't run right. And Cobb hates VF22's...old technology, unreliable, etc. I'm paraphrasing what I read them say.
I am impressed with the AFR though... <11 after 5800rpms is pretty safe up top. There has to be a fair amount of power left both in the tune and with a bigger IC. Can't wait.

damnit I was really counting on the vf22
o yeah just on a random whim let's see....
I just mapped out my major, so from here out until I graduate:
thermodynamics ->
fluids ->
heat transfer ->
Fluid Mechanics (includes basics of turbomachinary) ->
Advanced thermoscience ->
Internal Combustion Engine and turbomachinary design ( hehe, hehe, hehe)

Do yourself a favor and don't run that map on your car with crappy Cal winter 91 octane.

Also remember that a generic off the shelf map will run different on most cars. Some better than others.
Nice #'s anyhow!

I just noticed something on the dyno chart, it says
"with sprayer"
what does that mean? Extra cooling on the IC?
Anyway those are some good numbers. I am getting about the same sort of power on 91 octane, 270whp and 255 ft/lb torque with Subydude's Stage 3 package. So the numbers they have are very reasonable.
Cheers,
Bill Knose

I was under the impression that 11-ish AFR's were about the border for safety on 91. My Cobb stage 2 reflash tapered to about 11.5 after 6k. It also knocked a bit, and I heard many people comment that it was pretty lean.
This graph (which was a 93 map) is tapering to <11 by 6000rpms, and to 10.2ish by 6500rpms. I assumed that would be considered safer than the 11.5-ish by 6k.
Anyway...now that I've exposed my ignorance, you can all make fun of me.

Well I agree with Mike do not run this map on 91 octane. You will have nothing but problem with our gas.
A/F ratios are dependant on what people consider safe for the pople on the boards. But when it comes down to actually tuning a car the tuner is the only one that really knows what safe is on different octane levels.
Anyway we aren't going to make fun of you, just a little poking.
