FS: used coilover DMS 40 gold with extras
They are 9 months old, complete set ready to bolt on for GDA/02 WRX. You get to keep your OEM units intact.
It comes with front OEM tophats and group N rear tophats with breathers on the rear units. All you need is to install it and I can even arrange that for you. Spring rate F 180 / R 180.
The rear units was looked at and updated by Dave Ckark of DMS USA recently and was used for two weeks then taken out. (better half thing with the previous owner ).
$1,200 obo
Cheers
Gino
email me if interested.

Gino can I ask a few questions about your experience with updating them? More on general DMS 40mm info really.
How many miles were on them when they were found to need updating?
What were the symptoms at the time?
Were they waranteed?
I ask because I have a set sitting here, and can't get DMS to do anything about it despite every set I've ever heard about has had problems. I'm just trying to get as much background compiled on these struts as possible.
Thanks

Matt,
who did you buy them through? Dave Clark? M2? That can make the difference.
I bought mine through Dave Clark and he is currently fixing my set, upgrading them to the latest design.

There were no major issues on the units that I have and yes Dave did update the units. I sent them back due to binding noises on the rear units .
The noises are only present as you get going from a full stop and this is when you have parked for a long time. (minor)
Now everyone knows I tested 7 diff. makes of coilovers units and I must say all of them have rear unit noises of some sort. Even my Cusco zero 2 r's..
" Thanks for killing my DMS gold on this thread" lol J/K..
Like Chris said "It all depends on who you brought the units from"
cheers
