FS: GReddy EVO catback for GC
Got a routine rice check today. Darn cop was saying my exhaust is too loud and give me a modified exhaust ticket
I don't have a CARB card for it cuz the original seller didn't provide one for me. I know GReddy is legal in Cali and that's the reason I bought it, and I thought the cop would know it too. Anyway, I was thinking should I call GReddy for a CARB or just going back to stock? Thus, here's my decision...
*GReddy catback exhaust system for GC*
*excellent condition after some 300-350 cop free miles*
*will consider trade for Stromung or ScoobySport or Prodrive+additional $$$*
=$440
Would lower price if you could put my stock system back on.
I also have a rear differential protector for $40. Note: the protector won't fit with the GReddy.
Thanks for lookin' and hope you have a cop free day!

Each and every cat back exhaust in existence is CARB legal provided it keeps the stock cats in the stock location. Sorry to burst the bubble of your would-be buyers, but you don't need to sell it, the cop is a MOE-rawn.
If for some reason Greddy got a CARB number, they would give it to you over the phone I'm certain.

CARB has nothing to do with how loud your exhaust is.
You were ticketed for having too loud of an exhaust, you can fight it if you prove that it isn't too loud, but I don't know what the criteria are.
I think the cop is full of **** personally, and that you should just get your Greddy exhaust signed off by a cop that isn't an *******.

If it's for modified exhaust, the easiest way is just to get someone to sign it off. If you have to fight it, it's pretty easy to beat. Just research it.

You can get any sworn law enforcement officer of any jurisdiction to sign it off. If you can't get the hook-up, just slap a stocker back up there and go to the nearest police station and they will sign it off.
