Frustrated about autobody shop
/rant on
AAAArgh, stupid autobody -
First rain of the year, left turn about 15 mph car slid into the curb. Rear came around and jumped over the curb right onto road trash, looks like shelves.
May have bent something underneath, car made a lot of noise getting back onto the road.
Scratched the undercarriage and both bumpers.
Bent the A arm on passenger front side.
Bent the fender on the passenger front side.
Bent both wheels on passenger side.
Bent front strut on passenger side.
I told autobody shop it is the STi V7 strut wich is 40 mm, not the stock 22 mm.
Autobody called a Subaru Dealer, who gave them the 22mm part number.
I called the autobody several times a week - it has been 4 weeks now! Told everything was okay, I asked about the strut several times. Get told today it's the wrong part. Autobody calls dealer again and orders the wrong part again! Says there is no other Subaru part number for that strut.
I want to cry, I don't think I'll get my car back this year and I have this stupid Mustang rental.

Note: I gave the autobody the correct Subaru part number and the Subaru dealer confirmed it is a good part number and ordered it.

go figure...a bad auto body experience.
You can pretty much put your money down on red. Red for pissed off at the body shop.
Only one I've ever been happy with..and regardless of cost I'll try to never go anywhere else. Creative Kustoms.
good luck.
