The last item listed under the "package contents" is decals, so this just might work after all.

I don't see that much wrong with this. Whiteline makes subframe locking bolts for Impreza's (http://www.whiteline.com.au/docs/ins...B750_draft.PDF).

The less bushing flex, the stiffer the chassis feels.

The subframe lock bolts do something totally different (remove rear subframe movement), and don't claim to help handling as much as they remove some of the driveline slop (the 2nd gear THUNK).

The Honda things scare me, they remove the crumple zone and effectively transfer all bumper impacts all the way through the chassis to something with flex.........like the driver

I'm sorry, but if someone would buy these and install them after beleiving what the article and manufacturer tell them, I think that the bumper impact transferring to the driver wouldn't be a bad thing.

yeah it's not like we're talking about welding subrame connectors to the bottom of our chassis, like teh mustangs, guize....

there are no secrets, it's all "nuts and bolts".

FWIW, I have the rear subframe lock bolts on my car and the only thing they did for me is increase the driveline noise that gets transferred in to the car. I still have the second gear thunk and just as much drivetrain slop as I did before I installed them.

you need the diff bolts as well as the subrame bolts to eliminate the clunk, plus STi motor and trans. mounts won't hurt...
