Paul Eklund has the suspension springs dialed in. Raising, Lowering, or neutral ride height change, King Springs are offered for a variety of the applications.

Woot!

Yeah. We might end up going new and just getting exactly what we want.

Used... $21,500 car at 7.9% 60 months. 5k down. $324 a month
New... $25,500 car at 2.9% 60 months. 5k down. $367 a month.

At 25.5 that's a 2.5x premium with all weather package, spoiler, auto start, rain guards and a couple other things. Special order. I bet we could get one off the lot for $25k out the door. That's why my WRX was and my payments were $420 a month. Bah!

Outback? I thinking of the spoiler like huh? haha Also I didn't like the remote smart cause it's a separate key fob. Didn't need anything more bulky.

No forester... 2.5 x premium. The outbacks are like $5k more because of the CVT and the more refinement.

I got a 2011 Forester for 20k out the door. They had a special at Capitol Subaru back in April. It's the base model.

I was in the same boat. Prices on a used Forester was only 1-2k less, with about 10k plus miles.

That's what happened when I got my wrx. Used they were $22k with low miles... 2003. I picked up a 2004 in august of 03 for $25 out the door with the additional full coverage 100k gold warranty... which I ended up using to the fullest. Silly.

But that's their game. They want us buying new cars. Used cars are a bonus for them. They get to sell the same car 2 and 3 times.

picked up a 2011 Forester X. Spark Silver. Brand new. We paid about $500 less for a brand new one than we could find ANY used ones with less than 25k on them. The new one really is a nicer car too. I would recommend going 2011 with any of the cars. ALL of the 2011 cars are nicer. I got a close look at some WRX hatches... SICK. The STI is amazing. The 2011 outback is solid. The forester has the new motor in it, more torque, more hp and more mpg. Plus it just feels better. I could tell the difference from the passenger seat.

I asked Capitol about that pricing and they said no way. I don't know how the hell you got that. They would have lost a couple thousand dollars on the transaction unless subaru was giving HUUUUUGE kick backs back then.

Even $20,000 plus tax, lisense and fees would be a miracle.

I'll get some. The only ones are up on my wife's facebook right now. We'll take some soon.

I'm going to try to get the car over to Vince next weekend to do a full tint on it and then to Jeremy to do a clear bra. Then I'll probably do the sway bar upgrade in a month or two... let her get used to the car first. She asked me this morning.... "so when do I get my rims." I told her... when you wear through those tires. She said... "you didn't wait for your car" lol!!!!! I told her after she gets used to the car we'll talk. She hit a curb before we even bought the damn thing! No 18's until she figures out where the back of the car is.

But as it looks right now we'll probably get some black 18's next spring and do some sort of a drop. Not too low.. Maybe 1.5 inch. We'll see what's available come christmas time. Then that'll be the end of the mods for that car. Not touching anything motor related. Just looks and handling. She loves it.

Oh... and I just got your message last night at 11:30. I've got a gnarly week this week but I'll try to get on the horn with you Friday. We can talk shop. Might be worth meeting up in person to go over all the shirt stuff. I'm more than happy to help... after this week. LOL>

I've got 2 HUGE deadlines this week. One of them involves media and ribbons being cut!

Sweet... yeah it's a nice car to drive. Handles pretty good too as is. Surprised be because all I read was people complaining. Wife took the canyon home pretty fast last night.

Tell your friends not to drive the 2011. They'll be bummed. The motor is a HUGE improvement in my opinion. Feels so much more solid... best way I can describe it is that it's... there. Not fast, not slow. Just there. Does what it's suppose to do. The 2010 felt a little sluggish to me.
