i agree 100% with the youtube comment left

As a casual observer (with ZERO bias team/car/driver bias), the Porsche driver (Joerg) block the obviously faster everywhere Corvette, then stopped after the apex to try and screw up the Corvette's acceleration out of that last corner, then pushed the Corvette in to the wall even though the Corvette was already half a car length past. If you call that "good job", then you either hate real racing, or you are blinding by team/car/driver bias (which is about the same thing)

Of course, you negate that step with your ignorant post about his life experiences being "pretty much nill" - but can't explain why. That's because you've probably not experienced real life yet, so you have a lot to learn. You, being an elder around here? ROFLMFFAO!!!

Boy, that's funny!!

Elders have WISDOM, intelligence, and understanding, which obviously eludes you. Elders wouldn't try to insult someone else because they happen to disagree with the viewpoint, they'd stick to the subject at hand...

...so, you need to do some growing up. Oh, and in case you didn't notice, I've been here since 2003.
You were a jerk in your post. I got fired up because you tried to claim the corvette attempted to put the porsche in the wall which was pretty silly in my opinion considering its completely false, and then you were totally rude. It seemed you were just trying to start something. I posted up the video so people could watch it. Not start an argument. I guess next time I should just link the video and be done with it.

Interesting. The name calling over this?

I didn't TRY to claim anything. What I did was make the observation that in the last turn, the Corvette INTENTIONALLY BUMPED INTO THE BACK OF THE PORSCHE, which was done to upset his line, screw up his exit speed, and conceivably attempt to force the Porsche driver to lose control of the vehicle.

Read what you just wrote - I highlighted it in red to make sure you don't miss it.

Again, so we're perfectly clear on this, IN MY OPINION the Corvette driver needs to f'n learn how to drive, and NOT CHEAT because he's so desperate for a win. I'm glad to see that he (the Corvette driver) got what he deserved for trying to push the Porsche out of control.

Just a scenario:

If someone's chasing you down Skyline Drive, and is all over your tail, and you brake into a corner, and the driver bumps into you, would you or would you not think he's trying to run you off the road?

That would be the FIRST conclusion I'd come to, and at that point, I would take whatever action necessary, up to and including forcing him off the road (and hopefully over a cliff) to ensure the safety of myself and my vehicle.

Notice I can respond directly without all the name calling, perhaps that's because I'm senior to you around here. Does that make me an ELDER??

Oh, I noticed that you forgot to answer the question about the top drivers in automotive motorsports, and what they have in common...

Mark Martin - #2 on the NASCAR circuit - 50 years old...
Marino Franchitti - #1 on the IRL circuit - 36 years old...
David Brabham - #1 (P1) on the ALMS circuit - 44 years old...
Adrian Fernandez - #1 (P2) on the ALMS circuit - 45 years old...
Oliver Gavin - #1 (GT1) on the ALMS circuit - 37 years old...

Any young people (such as yourself) listed in here? I'm certain you aren't foolish enough to question the competence or reflexes of any of these drivers. Age isn't always a bad thing, so you need to sit down, STFU, and do your homework before you get your little fingers going on a keyboard.

Car Info: this required information?
Roo,

If the bump into the back in turn 11 was intentional (i.e. the porsche driver did not brake check him after all), it was not meant to "run him off the road" as you claim. It's a racing move, a dirty one, but a racing move none the less. It is meant to upset the lead car just enough so you can get on the power sooner then he, and sneak your nose in and take the position. It's used, and used well in BTCC by drivers like Matt Neal all the time, and it almost worked in this case too. One thing we need to keep in mind, is this is not club racing. This is pro racing, drivers are here to make a living and to do one thing, win. They will do this by any means possible. The corvette moves were dirty, but not illegal (except the pass in pit lane which he had to give back), the same goes for the Porsche. His move was by far dirty, but not illegal. Notice how you guys are the only ones getting angry over this, and Corvette Racing, Flying Lizard, and the ALMS all consider it a racing incident with no action needed?

Part of maturity and wisdom is knowing when to STFU. It seems somebody didn't get the memo.
