Yeah, $5 compared to $2,200 is a bit of a difference.

Group buy? Other group buys that I saw saved $400 on each light, each.

well it is a big difference but atleast the performance is about the same too!

But if we do a group buy I'm down as long as I have time to save since I hate using the CC

Did you skip over the 5,200 lumen mini-HID flashlight? Brighter then the big old HID flashlights by almost double, and half the size!

EDC: Fenix E01 - this this is smaller than my chapstick, and basically fits in the coin pocket of my jeans/pants.

Car: Surefire G2 w/ upgraded LED assembly.

How much light does the fenix produce? (Lumen)

EDIT: Yikes, it only produces 10 lumens? I'd expect more out of a $15 flashlight, even though that's cheap as hell, there are $5 lights you can get with more illumination.

If you like your light, you should check out the first light I posted in this thread, the Inova T1 mini light. The circumference is about the size of a quarter and is about 4.5-5" long,

But it produces 100 lumens instead of 10. It'll cost you just over $50 but its sooo worth it.

It puts out about 10 lumens - more than enough light for basic everyday things like navigating a dark room to find the light switch, search for keys, read a map, etc. What's nice about it is that it's really small, and runs for about 10-11hrs on 1 regular AAA battery. Oh, and it's only $15, so it doesn't hurt too much to try it out to see if it's for you.

Well, my G2 w/ LED produced about 100 lumens, is about that size, and was about $50 also. It's great when I need more light, for instance changing a flat tire at night, etc., but it's also much bigger, and there's no way I'd consider carrying it around everywhere in my pocket (between my cell phone, knife, keys, wallet, smokes, etc. I have way too much crap already). The Fenix is like a mini-mag lite (one of those AAA ones) that you might keep on a keychain, except it's much brighter.

Keep in mind that the E01 is literally about the size of 1 AA battery.

The great thing about the Inova T1 is that it's SUPER small,
super rugged and made of a solid piece of aluminum and still produces
100 lumens on two 123A batteries which are tiny. It also has a run time of like 15 hours IIRC. It's so small that I can put it into the change pocket of my pants!
