kind of like when you pan a digi camera with slow shutter at LED's, it leaves dotted streaks in your vision for a split second which is distracting and dangerous IMO

OP and everone else not lucky enough to carry a badge. You need to ask the kind friendly police officer without having an attitude what is wrong with your exhaust. Its a 50/50 but sometimes you will get them to say they are ticketing it because it is not OEM. BINGO go to court get it dismissed. As long as the officer doesnt say I feel it exceeds the noise limitations youre good. To address a misnomer stated above it is NOT illeagal in california to have an aftermarket exhaust. It is illeagal if it is too loud.

Couldnt agree more. I dont give out citations for modifications. But i do pull over cars hoping for the bigger bust =)

When i do pull over a car that has violated a VC section... I kindly tell them that they have violated the section and they need to fix whatever is wrong with their car.

Unless its plain retarded ( Ashing cigarette out the window, reckless driving : Sideshow crap, or blasting their 24 15" subs at 0400 int he morning.)

Get the point?

By the way sorry to hear that.
I didn't realize military police can sign off on a fix-it ticket?

Good to know.
