Fix it ticket help: cash reward or STI ver.1 front lip

Recently got a fix it ticket for tinted windows and i need some help getting it taken care of I'm located in Santa Clara. If anyone has a black impreza without front tint that would be willing to help me get this ticket signed off please send me a PM.

If anyone knows a cop that might be able to sign this off for me please send me a PM.

Cash reward for your time. Or you can have a cracked fiberglass 02-03 STI ver.1 replica front lip if you prefer.

Thanks in advance

I hope you werent thinking of using another car trying to cover up your tint. As an LEO I check the VIN and plates, I know it sucks getting a ticket like that but it is what it is.

Sorry i cant give you more help other than take the tint off, unless you get a doctors note saying that u need the tint.

Thanks for the info. I might try to get a doctors note. Would I be able to take a doctors note as a substitute for correcting the violation to the court house?

I've never actually had an officer check the VIN for any fix it ticket that I've corrected. The officer that wrote this particular ticket didn't mark VIN on the ticket at all. Last fix it ticket i had for no front plate the officer signed off from inside the police station without even coming out to look at my car.

I'm a bartender and i get pulled over all the time just for driving around at 3 in the morning, so I try my best to have everything legal, but I really do enjoy having my tinted windows.

Supposedly Dr's notes dont give an excuse for you to have a tint above legal limit. Thats just from what I read though since my friend got a fix it ticket as well and was wondering if you can do that.

HAHA.. I actually have thought about that. Don't the LEO just put their star number and signature on the back of the ticket which can be easily duplicated?

A doctors note for certain types of situations will be able to let you off with tints darker than legal. My friend has his tints signed off for his skin disease, so I'm guessing anything to do with heavy sunlight having a negative effect to your body.

I have a black impreza without front tints but its an 07 sorry!

Yeah pretty much. Unless you have a really close family doctor that will sign you off, I think you're out of luck on the doctors route.

You know for window tint violations you can pay the penalty of 125 and just leave your tint on. But if you get caught again it is another 125
