There was a fire in San Ramon off Camino Tassajara at around 11 o'clock this morning. It was put out at 12:20.

" Although residents as far north as Walnut Creek and as far south as Pleasanton reported seeing smoke, firefighters said most of the smoke was more likely due to the "Lick" fire near Morgan Hill." _ CCTimes

So it's a bit of both.
